Costa Rica Frontera neighbors Hacienda La Amistad in Coto Brus whom is one of the very few organic certified coffee estates in Costa Rica. Roberto Montero manages La Amistad and assists this newly formed grower group called "Frontera" to help them with production harvesting and marketing to achieve a sustainable price for them to continue with production.
Costa Rican coffees are generally believed to have some of the best coffee flavor profiles in South/Central America, with high grown altitudes and a pleasant acidity, leading to great coffee reviews.

I first learned of Jimmy's Java when I purchased a cup of coffee from them at the Sanibel Farmers Market. That cup was so delicious that I purchased two bags to take home with me.
Since then, I have regularly purchased bags of Matlacha Midnight and Sanibel Sunrise via mail order. The bags arrive well sealed and I am able to enjoy the coffees year round. The coffee is very tasty with no hint of bitterness.

This coffee has all been so amazing! So fresh and fragrant and truly just makes a really wonderful cup of coffee. We have liked everything we have tried so far. Trued some at my boyfriend's aunt's house that was decaf, and it was awesome. And I'm not a decaf kind of gal and I still had 2 cups! Great coffee and I cannot recommend them enough. This caramel rum crunch is perfect!

You won’t be disappointed! Other coffee’s have a fake chemical flavor, not this coffee. Quality & taste are spot on! The Gran Crema Espresso is Fabulous!! It never disappoints. We buy by the 5 lb bags. Highly recommended. It is so smooth.
