Our Organic Maya Decaf is a rich, distinctive and aromatic coffee. In the year 2000, 62 Honduran coffee farmers joined together with a common goal to transform their farms from conventional to organic production and formed COMSA (Cafe Organico Marcala, S.A). In 2001, fostered by a foundation called Funder, COMSA earned their organic certification from Bio Latina which has enabled them to market their coffee to more international buyers and realize better selling prices for their coffee. In February 2006, COMSA then applied for and was granted Fair Trade certification status. COMSA uses the Fair Trade price premium to fund many social projects including paying teachers’ salaries and purchasing school supplies.

The beans were roasted well. The quantity and quality were unremarkable and pleasant. The tasting was approved by the occupants and placed this on a reorder for the future.
Best coffee ever! I have loved every flavor I’ve tried!
This flavor is by far my favorite. It literally taste like toasted coconuts. The only thing that I recommend is using a regular brewing method and not the Keurig.

The whole beans sent had the aroma of a moist Costa Rican sunny hillside naturally composting. The taste transformed our mouths into fantastic voyages of melodramatic ecstasy!
A nice subtle natural coconut flavor
I received a call back shortly after posting my previous review, and was advised that the Guatemala San Marcos Medium Roast does not contain any dairy product or sugar. Apparently it only has the flavor of those. These beans are my favorite and in previous orders have been very satisfied with the products and service.
