Many Arabica coffee varieties show off their full flavor profiles when roasted to a lower temperature.  A lower final roasting temp, along with a flatter roasting profile, allows the oils inside the beans to gently 'mature' and bring out delicate floral and fruit notes in the resultant coffee.  In addition, less caffeine is lost which delivers a higher caffeine punch in each cup of coffee.

Sometimes referred to as a 'blond' roast, light roast coffee can make even less remarkable coffee varieties drink above their weight.  Subtle flavors are enhanced, especially on the flavor receptors on the front of the tongue.  Acid bitterness can be converted into a 'bright' taste that is not unpleasant.

The Brewing Method Used
